i've been on a hat kick lately & Etsy is no help! :P


lol ~ in Madeleine's excitement to pose (that's my girl!), she forgets she needs to hold on to Serafina! good thing Serafina is both bendy & easygoing! :P

Week 6 with Serafina

well, we're only at week 6, but so far, so good (KNOCK WOOD!)
madeleine is being a very good big sister; she's concerned whenever Serafina fusses, either telling me she needs 'mommy milky' or 'change her'. :P whenever strangers try talking to madeleine, she immediately tells them 'sister... (sera)fina'
as for serafina, we couldn't ask for a better baby. :) she's happy (as long as she's fed, her diaper has been changed, and she's being held, lol) AND (KNOCK WOOD again) she's a fabulous sleeper (thanks to mom who gave us tips and encouragement: THANK YOU!!!) ~ serafina's been going to bed at 5:30 (with madeleine), waking up ~2:30am for a feeding, then up ~7/8am (with madeleine). i'm keeping everything crossed that this continues for a long time!!! :P yesterday, the doctor weighed serafina at 9 pounds 11 ounces, right on track (gaining 1oz/day despite 'only' eating 6 times a day).

so madeleine was sitting in her stroller, waiting for us to get ready, when she asked to hold serafina.
