Serafina is 3 months old!

I truly can not believe it. 3 months fly with a baby so good! =) (or is it just that Madeleine is in the midst of her Terrible Twos so compared to that anything seems good?!?!? just kidding. kind of.)

Serafina really is a great girl. She's easygoing & smiling more and more. =)
Serafina continues to sleep well (5:30pm to ~5:30am, then back down until ~8:30am as well as a nap from 11:45am to 2:45pm) which makes me especially grateful!! I realize we are VERY lucky that our children sleep as much as Daddy would like to (and as much as Mommy does, hehe)!!!

Seriously, we are blessed. (and please pray madeleine's Terrible Two Stage passes quickly & Serafina keeps on being such a good girl!) :P

I was amazed how many expressions she had in the 2 minutes I took these pictures ~ really wonder what she's thinking!








And here she is in one of her favorite toys: her Giraffe bouncer ~ Serafina hits the giraffes, but I don't think it's intentional (yet). However, she gets the biggest kick out of watching the giraffes bounce around and rattle.


(and she's sporting one of the hats Auntie Wendy's work friend, Mimi's mom made for Madeleine, which have been passed on. :)

Summer Vacation in North Carolina

For our summer vacation this year, we rented a house with college friends in North Carolina for a week. It was especially fun b/c all the kids had others their age ~ and fun for us b/c they could entertain each other! ;> Here are all the kids

Unfortunately, it was just too hot for Serafina (who really couldn't go in the water). Hopefully she'll get to enjoy it next year! :)

It was nice having a baby there Serafina's age; Serafina was born April 8, Ava was born April 1st. =) And they seemed to like it, too (as much as babies can)! :P

Mini Golf!
While we were there, Jack Austin had his 4th birthday! He wanted to go mini-golfing, so of course, we all went. :) However, we got separated into 2 groups at the course. We got to golf with Jim, Cat, and Ava. Serafina & Ava slept through most of it, though. Again, hopefully they'll find it more exciting next year! But we had a grand time.
